There’s a live camera on an eagle’s nest in Decorah, Iowa. Three little eaglets live there, and if one of the parents aren’t sitting on them, you can see their cute fluffiness. It’s fascinating to watch. (Contains occasional carnivorousness, so be warned if that bothers you.)
Photos from my visit to the American Museum of Natural History. . .
And the parade of taxidermied animals. They’re beautiful but they also make me sad and uneasy.
I went to New York last week. Duran Duran were appearing on the Jimmy Fallon show, and I got tickets to the taping. It was great fun, I would love to do it again sometime. Even if my favorite band wasn’t going to be on! Even without that, it was a fantastic trip. I spent lots of time with my best friend Tricia & her husband Henry. And as many times as I’ve been there, there’s never of shortage of things to do.
Here are some of my photos:
An exhibit at MoMA called “Standard Deviations” about modern type. I love the word “hamburgefons,” I have no idea why, except that it sounds funny.
We also went to the American Museum of Natural History. I’ll put those photos in a separate post.
